Egg roll is a famous snack from the streets of many India cities. If you are looking for appetizer ideas, this quick and easy recipe is a great option. Chapati Egg Roll is a simple and nutritious snack, perfect for busy morning breakfast as well as for the evening snack time .

 

Ingredients:

  • Whole wheat flour (Maida): 1 cup
  • Eggs: 2
  • Onion: 1 medium, chopped finely
  • Cabbage: half a cup, julienned
  • Carrot: ¼ cup, julienned
  • Refined oil for cooking
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper  ¼ tspn
  • Tomato sauce, black soya sauce, chilli sauce  for seasoning

 

Preparation:

  • Knead the flour well and make two round paratha with it.
  • Heat a pan and cook the paratha properly at one side and keep it aside.
  • Now heat one tablespoon of oil in the pan put the paratha on the other side which is not properly cooked, break an egg on it keep beating it and spread it so as to have almost the same diameter as the parantha.
  • Turn around the paratha cook from both the sides, place it on a plate.
  • Now add the filling of veggies and sauces on the one side of the paratha ond roll on to the other side so that it doesn’t open up.
  • Transfer it to a  plate and serve it hot and enjoy your egg roll.
